Learn the secrets to the creek: Waders – gear up for small mouth rock bass!
Tom Clay grew up on the banks of the Ohio River fishing the creeks of Eastern Kentucky. Tom, the son of four-time outdoor hall of fame recipient Soc Clay, was taught at an early age the love of the outdoors. Clay was presented with the honor of Water Conservationist of the Year by the League of Kentucky Sportsmen in 1998 – an award he would be presented with again in 2000 for his restoration work on area lakes in Eastern Kentucky.
“A Television & Radio Host: Tom Clay” hit the airwaves in 1998 & has never looked back. His radio program “This Weeks Outdoor Adventures” can be heard on more than twenty-five stations across Kentucky. A familiar face in Kentucky, Ohio & West Virginia on the TV air-waves, Tom Clay can still be seen today on area commercials and shows promoting and sharing his knowledge of the outdoors. A creek fishermen by heart, Clay spends the majority of his time these days exploring streams around Appalachia.
In 2019 Tom Clay was placed into the Greenup County KY Hall of Fame for promoting outdoor activities for generations to come.
